SAFETY VINYL
Suitable for high slip environments such as wet rooms, commercial kitchens, leisure centres, changing rooms, and toilets.
Safety vinyl aka non-slip vinyl is essential to minimise the risk of injury. It is incredibly robust, making it the toughest vinyl on the market. As well as being durable and long lasting, it is also easy to clean.

Safety vinyl is often installed along side a coved skirting, aka 'cap and cove' giving the areas a fully waterproof floor with hot welded internal and external corners, and hot welded seams.

HYGIENIC WALL
CLADDING
Hygienic PVC wall cladding, widely known as Altro Whiterock has become vastly popular over the past decade.
​
As a hygienic alternative to ceramic tiles it is most commonly used in commercial kitchens, showers/wet rooms, hospitals, food prep areas, and pharmaceutical workspaces.
​
We are qualified to install Altro Whiterock.
There are also alternative products on the market. We are able to offer an 'all in one' package solution combining wall cladding along with cove formed safety vinyl.

CARPET TILES
Carpet tiles are extremely fast to install and can be laid on any sound subfloor as they don't require an underlay. They also minimise waste which makes them cost effective, and are used so widely because they are easy to swap or replace if an area or tile becomes badly worn or marked.
​
Anything can be done with carpet tiles besides the standard monolithic installation. From different directions of lay (1/4 turn/checkerboard), to multiple colour inserts, pattern work such as herringbone, brick bond, vertical ashlar and diagonal making them incredibly versatile.
​

One of the most important factors in the flooring industry is floor preparation.
Often an overlooked skill, and if not carried out correctly, it can have devastating effects on your newly finished floor.

At Top End we feel no time can be spared on such a key factor. We have almost 20 years experience in grinding, damp proof membranes, floor levelling, ramping, smoothing and sanding.
